TGI Fridays℠ is known for serving authentic American food and exciting drinks. We also understand that our restaurants are more than just a place to eat. They are places where communities form, gather and engage. So, we take our commitment to community seriously. Our Team Members have cultivated strong local relationships and take great pride in their engagement with guests and their participation in the communities that they live and work in. TGI Fridays focuses on issues of national significance; Hunger, Shelter, Education and Youth and does so by donating food, sponsoring local groups (including schools and non-profit organizations), and participating and hosting in fundraising events. After natural disasters, our restaurants have been safe havens, offering shelter, hot meals, fellowship and a place for people find comfort, community and even a chance to charge their phones, their only means of communication to their loved ones.

TGI Fridays is proud to be a national sponsor of Feeding America®, the leading domestic hunger-relief charity in the United States. We support Feeding America by raising funds for the organization through the World Bartender Championship competition, the donation of surplus food to local food banks, sponsorship of events and donation of volunteer hours by our team members. In addition to our commitment to the communities we live and work in, TGI Fridays team members are also committed to helping each other. Fridays℠ Have A Heart Fund (Have a Heart) is an internal 501 (C)(3) organization focused on providing financial assistance to team members when they experience a tragedy or an unforeseen emergency. Have a Heart is primarily funded through team member contributions, demonstrating the caring nature of the Fridays team.  Have a Heart has helped thousands of team members through the distribution of over three million dollars in grants, providing assistance when one of our own is most in need.

TGI Fridays Animal Welfare Position

TGI Fridays Corporate is dedicated to working with suppliers who share our values and understand that it is important to treat animals with care and consideration. To that end, we are committed to taking the following steps:

  • Eggs: TGI Fridays goal is to phase in the use of cage free eggs throughout our US supply chain.

  • Pork: TGI Fridays goal is to only purchase pork from suppliers that can demonstrate documented plans to end their use of gestation crates for breeding sows.

Derek Young, Director of Responsible Business for TGI Fridays stated, “Animal welfare is important to Fridays and our guests and we believe this announcement reflects that commitment. Our company believes in operating responsibly in all aspects of our business, and ensuring a responsible supply chain is one way we can demonstrate that."
